Surge Protection Device

Supply and Provision of indicative type Surge Protection Device (Type 1and Type 2 SPD) as per RDSO Spec.No. RSDO/SPN/165/2023 (Ver.4.0)effective date 20.06.2024 or latest.The (Type-1) SPD shall be provided between Line to Neutral & Neutral to Earth. The (Type-1) SPD will be followed by (Type-2) SPD adjacent to it and connected between Line &Neutral. SPD Type 1 and Type 2 SPD should be so co-ordinated that voltage protection level is less then or equals to 1.5 KV. The system shall have stage1 (class B) and stage 2(class C) type against Lightning. All other miscellaneous materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor. SPD should have provision of Potential Free Contact for remote monitoring through Data Logger. The Lightning and Surge Protection Devices shall be compliant with IEC-61643 (latest)and IEC 62305-4 (latest) and certified from Lab like KEMA, VDE etc
